PI4COM Achieves #1 in Europe in CQ WW RTTY Contest 2025
We are proud to announce that PI4COM has achieved 1st place in Europe in the CQ World Wide RTTY Contest 2025, one of the most prestigious and competitive digital-mode contests in amateur radio.
The PI4COM Contest Station team delivered an outstanding performance during the 48-hour contest weekend, making contacts with stations around the globe using RTTY (Radio Teletype). Competing against some of the best contest stations in Europe, the team’s dedication, preparation, and operating skill resulted in a fantastic first-place finish for the continent.
The CQ World Wide DX Contest series is among the largest amateur radio competitions in the world, attracting thousands of participants from more than 100 countries. The RTTY edition challenges operators to combine strategy, endurance, and technical expertise while maintaining high QSO rates across multiple bands.
Achieving the top European position is the result of strong teamwork both on and off the air. From careful station preparation and antenna optimization to coordinated operating shifts throughout the contest, every member of the PI4COM team contributed to this exceptional result.
We would like to thank all operators, station supporters, and the many stations worldwide who worked PI4COM during the contest. Every QSO helped make this achievement possible.
